We are looking for the Business Development Manager PIEMONTE (f/m) of an International Freight Forwarding company

Position based in PIEMONTE area (home office)

Our client is an international Company, “Spedizioniere” specialises in Air & Ocean, Freight Forwarding, Overseas and international transport solutions, with an international network comprises of 190 own branches worldwide.

This company has identified a need to boost sales in the PIEMONTE area.

We’re looking for a results-driven Business Development Manager (f/m) to actively seek out and engage customers and prospects, with a deep regional (North West of Italy) industrial/customers knowledge and proven track records in selling solutions for the Freight forwarding industry.

Directly reporting to the Italian Managing Director:

• You will provide complete and appropriate Transport solutions for every customer in order to boost top-line revenue growth, customer acquisition levels and profitability
• Present, promote and sell services / solutions using solid arguments to existing and prospective customers
• Representing the group in the Veneto region
• Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships
• Reach out to customer leads through cold calling
• Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule
• Analyse the territory/market’s potential, track sales and status reports
• Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.


• At least 5 years in Sales Manager position in Freight Forwarding industry (Sea freight / Air freight)
• Proven work experience as a sales representative for international companies in the VENETO area
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office
• Familiarity with CRM practices along with ability to build productive business professional relationships
• Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in sales
• Excellent selling, communication and negotiation skills
• Relationship management skills and openness to feedback
• Fluent English and Italian is compulsory
